Alhamdulillah, the MyFundAction team has safely returned from an 18-day mission in Guinea, Africa. During their time there, they were able to witness the conditions of the African children firsthand.
Everything is in short supply. It’s vastly different compared to our country.
Their schools’ conditions are extremely cramped. Some don’t even have roofs. But their enthusiasm for seeking knowledge is truly remarkable.
Many African children read and memorize the verses of the holy Quran. To reinforce their memorization, they will write the verses on a piece of board.
Copies of the Quran are highly cherished there. These African children compete to own a Quran because many of the ones they have are worn out, torn, and tattered.
Due to extreme scarcity, they are forced to share with others so that everyone can experience the blessing of reading the Quran.
Hence, one of MyFundAction’s missions there is to distribute new copies of the Quran to African children.
And alhamdulillah, out of the 6 madrasahs visited, a total of 500 copies of the Quran have been successfully distributed. However, even that is not sufficient, as there are already around 1,000 students there.
So, what are we all waiting for? Let’s donate new copies of the Quran to our brothers and sisters in Africa. May this become an investment for our hereafter.
Our sole hope at MyFundAction is that one day, the children in Africa can become a generation well-versed in the Quran, eventually earning the titles of Hafiz and Hafizah.
Join us in this noble effort and bring new hope to those in need in Africa through the ‘Rebuilding Africa’ mission.
He who alleviates the suffering of a brother out of the sufferings of the world, Allah would alleviate his suffering from the sufferings of the Day of Resurrection, (HR. Muslim no.2699)
