The transition from adolescence to adulthood can be confusing for some young people out there. They want to explore new life paths and discover their passion during this time. The path can be right or wrong, but what’s important they need support and guidance.
Being a youth during these modern times is challenging for Muslims. The media portrayal of Islam has disrupted our image by increasing meaningless disputes, instilling fear and withdrawal among Muslims, which results in lower self-esteem because of their identity. Misconceptions that surround this young generation might stop them from pursuing their dreams.
The best solution to the continuing issues Muslim youngsters must fully integrate, interact with individuals who are both knowledgeable and varied, and assist in understanding and researching the fundamental teachings of Islam as embodied in the Quran and hadith.
Join our youth movement to help people like Zainab
Based on discussions with local Muslim youth, they are looking for a bigger platform for self-development and community locally and internationally with Islamic values. At this crucial point in life, they need a safe space for open discussion regarding their Islamic identity, plus mental health. In this place, they can express themselves freely without any judgment.
MyFundAction Youth Development Center (MYDC) is here to fulfill the needs of youth and be a second home to them. We strived to provide a wide range of activities and programs, from the spiritual and physical to the recreational and intellectual. MYDC is honored to be the only facility in Queenstown that provides a platform to expose the youth to multicultural social communication skills.
