The border has opened yet many are still struggling around the world, including here in Aotearoa New Zealand! MyFundAction Rangatahi (Youth) responds to the great need in our country.
BOX OF HAPPINESS
Box of Happiness is an initiative, where we identify families who are in need and provide them with food supplies as a start.
We will carefully analyze their situation and provide constant support in terms of education for their children, business mentoring chances to sustain their family, and moral support.
They will get through counseling sessions once their fundamental requirements (food, shelter, and clothing) have been met.
WHY DID WE CHOOSE NEW ZEALAND?
The economy today has forced families to restructure their daily lives. The truth is that there are families today who have to restrict their food intake, tighten their stomachs, and must face the challenges of making a livelihood.
Every month when we receive our salaries, we are thinking the salary earned is still not enough to pay that and this. But we also need to think there are still people who don’t even have a penny to buy food.
Data released in 2021 shows that the progress is slow, with many vulnerable children still living in damp, unaffordable homes and with families that run out of food.
The consequence of diets poor in vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients is affecting the health and life prospects of millions more, and casting a shadow over the future of communities and entire countries.
WHAT’S IN THE BOX?
- Basic food needs – Rice, flour, bread, egg, spaghetti, vegetable, and meat/chicken.
- Hygiene supplies – Face mask and sanitizer.
THE IMPACT IF THE PROJECT IS NOT SUPPORTED:
- Box Of Happiness cannot be delivered to the right person
- Many of those affected are unable to live comfortably
- Unable to reveal and develop the personality of a youth
