Education is a Right, Not a Privilege – Let’s Help Them Claim It!

Nearly 7,000 schools have been destroyed in the prolonged crisis, leaving an entire generation without access to education.

At MyFundAction, we’re stepping up to make a difference, and we invite you to join us in rebuilding hope by constructing a school in Idlib, Kemmune. Together, we can give these children the future they deserve!

So, What Are the Challenges Faces By Them?

The ongoing crisis in Syria has left countless children vulnerable, with their future at risk. As the country grapples with war and instability, these children face numerous obstacles that prevent them from accessing education.

Here are some of the barriers and challenges faces by them:

  • Nomadic Lifestyle – Constantly moving for safety and protection makes it difficult for children to access education.
  • Poverty – Financial struggles are a significant barrier, especially for children in refugee areas, where families can’t afford school fees, transportation, or educational supplies.
  • Child Labor – 1 in 3 children who attend school fail to complete their education due to poverty. Many families rely on child labor for survival, often prioritizing it over education.
  • Lack of Learning Spaces – The number of schools and teachers in refugee camps is far too limited compared to the overwhelming number of children in need of education.

What Are The Complications?

Being in conflict zones increases the risk of these children falling behind in their education. So School for Syria project aims to establish a more organized and comprehensive education system for those who are out of school.

This project will provide more than 1,000 students with 18 classrooms, offering them a comfortable and spacious environment to learn.
